Parkville Station

The new Parkville Station as part of the Metro Tunnel Project, will provide a direct train connection to this area of Melbourne for the very first time and help to lessen the burden on trams and roads.

Parkville Station is being built directly below Grattan Street between Royal Parade and Leicester Street. Four entrances will provide easy access to the brand new station, located near surrounding hospital precincts and the University of Melbourne.

February and March 2024 works will include entrance construction at the stations east site, fit out of other entrances. as well as goods lift fit out and ventilation shaft fit outs. Upcoming works will sometimes require around the clock 24-hour construction periods.
