Wildlife Rehabilitation Program

This innovative partnership with Corrections Victoria and wildlife rescue groups in the North East aims to help rehabilitate those in custody at the minimum security Beechworth Correctional Centre.

Local wildlife experts supervise those in custody and guide them through the rehabilitative process for injured wildlife, allowing them to learn a variety of new skills in the process.

It was also great to chat with ABC Goulburn Valley about this program and express the importance of this program and similar programs when it comes to rehabilitation.
