Onam is an incredibly important occasion for the Malayalee community, usually featuring traditional dance performances and music.

I had the pleasure of attending the vibrant Onam celebrations with the Member for Broadmeadows, Kathleen Matthews-Ward MP, at Glenroy College. It was a wonderful experience to join the Glenroy Residents Association of Malayalees for their lively community event.

The obvious passion and warmth of this community made it all the more special. Wishing everyone a joyful and blessed Onam.
